What: In each active Living Free Canada community we will have monthly community projects, which will inspire and promote a healthy lifestyle to our youth. There is an application form that can be filled out and submitted to our community.
There will be one project selected each month and 1% of the sales in that selected community will be donated to that project.
Who: Any individual youth or youth group (youth as determined by the province of residence) that has a health and wellness goal that needs financial assistance.
How it works: The group or individual will fill out an online application and include when they want the money by (at least 2 months from the application), financial goal and what they will do with the money. For the duration of the month we will feature you on our community page and on our daily emails. We will also provide you ads/links for your websites and social media pages to help inform your community about our partnership.
Why: We believe that it is important to inspire the next generation to live a fun and healthy lifestyle and to develop an active mind, happy heart and loving soul. This can be an expensive industry and we want to try and provide opportunities that might be a challenge for individuals or groups to achieve without financial assistance.
If selected what will they receive:
- Write up in the Community sections (including pictures, logos and websites)
- A widget to put on their website/social media platforms to share our partnerships.
- Marketing materials to show our partnership (posters, rack cards, banner ads, etc…)
- All monies raised, up until their goal, in the designated time frame. All money raised that is past the financial goal will be put into a float fund to help other individuals and groups in the community.
How to become a part of the community:
Before you sign up please make sure you are already a member (Don’t worry, it is FREE)!
Step 1: Read the eligibility form
Step 2: Fill out the online form in order to apply to be the featured group (every field must be filled out)
Step 3: Submit the form (auto-responder will send out a response saying that those selected will be contacted and announced on Facebook and Twitter on the 25th of the prior month)
