Jumpstart

As some of you may know, Living Free Canada has decided to donate a portion of all our sales to helping youth achieve their fitness goals. We have decided that while building out that program, we will be donating 1% of all of our sales to Jumpstart, which is a program created by Canadian Tire.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a national charitable program that helps financially disadvantaged kids participate in organized sport and recreation. They help cover registration, equipment and/or transportation costs.

They have an extensive, national network of more than 310 local chapters. Chapter members are volunteers who are committed to helping get kids active and healthy. They work in partnership with other local non-profit organizations to discreetly identify kids with the greatest need in their community. Canadian Tire Jumpstart then covers registration, equipment and/or transportation costs to help them participate in a sport or recreational activity of their choice.

They also lend support to unique initiatives aimed at increasing access to sport and recreation programs.

Since their launch in 2005, Canadian Tire Jumpstart has given 371,500 kids across Canada the chance to play

For more information on Jumpstart please visit their website.

We are looking for teams and individuals who need help funding their fitness goals (like travel and equipment costs). If you would like to apply to the community partnership program please stand by for directions on how to do so.
